The Birth of Penguin
As he immersed himself in crafting chairs, Fujii—an up-and-coming wood artisan from Hida and the visionary behind the brand HOPE—suddenly paused. Known for his mastery of soft, flowing lines, he found himself captivated by an unexpected realization. In the curve of a chair leg before him, he glimpsed the form of a penguin—silent, graceful, and full of quiet charm.

静かに佇む、木の温もりが息づくペンギン：柔らかなカーブとウィールナットの木目の美しさが、自然の命を宿すように空間を彩ります。
ただそこにあるだけで、温もりと物語を感じられる特別な存在感のあるオブジェです。オールナットの体とメイプルのお腹、嘴にはブナを使っています。それぞれの樹種が持つ色合いや質感も面白く仕上がっております。
PENGINがうまれた瞬間
HOPEというブランドを手掛ける飛騨の新進気鋭の木工家・藤井は、夢中となって椅子を製作している最中、ふと手を止めました。柔らかなラインを得意とする彼が、目の前にある椅子の脚に、ふとペンギンのような形を感じ取った瞬間でした。
